Hey y'all. I live on the Cape Fear coast of North Carolina. I'm
originally from Union County North Carolina and still have family
there and visit up that way every few months. In late 2015 I made the
email connection to a retired gentleman in the area of Weddington or
Waxhaw North Carolina who had formerly been very involved in the
conversion of Mazda rotaries to aircraft use. At the time I was too
busy to be able to visit him around Christmas. Shortly thereafter my
computer crashed and I lost all that correspondence. My question
is... Does anyone here have a clue of who that gentleman is and how I
might get in touch with him?

For many years it has been a great desire of mine to build a Zenith
701. I am a very experienced sheet metal mechanic and I own my own
sheet metal shop. I also happen to have a Mazda 13B sitting on the
ground out back. My idea would be to convert it to a one rotor motor
with aluminum end pieces and use it in a 701. I also I would like a
little bit of feedback on that idea.
