Are you still considering machining one rotor e-shafts? I hope you are. And
of course here comes questions.
First, how do you balance the engine? I believe you said "balancing was
easy".  Is there a cheap source for aluminum end housings, what porting do
you suggest, and what do you think the fuel burn would be?

After many mind projects, I am building a Q-200 , and would like to power
with a high-power (150 hp, or more), low weight, single rotor engine. I was
looking atkinsrotary.com, and asked questions about their one rotor. The
basic reply was "weight to much, will not work, don't consider it, now leave
me alone kid, I have engines to sell".

I believe if a single rotor that is light, gives good power, and has a
decent fuel burn would have a good market for small homebuilt projects.

Aluminum  end housings are about $1500 each from Racing Beat.
P-port is the way to go.
The fuel burn will be as low as .47 BSFC. Pounds of fuel burned per
HP in  one hour.

The dynamic balance can be done by math. But Mazdatrix also has a service.
