In the late 90s I machined almost all of a 13b gearbox from a set of
plans I bought from a fellow that used the design on a Subaru (going
from memory here).Based on C6 planetary set.Not the same as
Tracy's BTW.Weight would have been between 30-35 lb. Sold the
gearbox parts to a fellow from Florida I believe.

But find those plans and you'll have your 35lb gearbox.

What would you charge to make a one rotor shaft out of a two rotor
shaft.

Paul, What does it take to make a one rotor shaft out of a two rotor
shaft? I have access to machine shop equipment, and would like to
try, and do the machining. Also, do you have the end drawings for
CCNing in aluminum?

Well it means cutting one of those eccentric lobes off.
It is kind of hard on a lathe unless it is huge. That is because it is a non continuous cut. A tool post grinder might work better.

I don't have the end housings designdone but will work on them if you can cut some.

I have a 14" lathe and have managed to shave off a lobe without difficulty.
