Paul, very interesting all the same. Should be called "how to
plagiarise and still get most things wrong". Pity about your "poor"
editorial though!! What arrogance.

Paul, If I can stop laughing long enough to show how stupid this mob
are and they have obviously learnt nothing. This is a very BRIEF reply.
For a start they researched available material which they acknowledge
your web site and Book on “How to cool your wankel”. Great I thought,
then they disregard all you have said at the same time noting Your “how
to cool the wankel” book was very good despite editorial
shortcomings!!! What absolute bloody arrogance on their part! had they
just followed your instructions they would have had all the problems
fixed in the first place, But NOOO they must be the ones to solve the
mysteries apparently and all your advice is quietly discarded.
I must assume that no one has ever mounted an engine in a plane
before, for they could not get much right first go despite having all
the resources of Solidworks. They were actually surprised when
nothing fitted in the space available!! Either Solidworks is garbage or
no one knew how to use it. I suspect the latter is the case.
They intended to mount the exhaust at the back of the engine (shown).
What a joke! How many bends can you fit in there? What were they to
mount it to, the fan belt, and what about the 1800 degree heat? At the
end they did like everyone else, the muffler went out the back with no
innovations whatever, and with only one flex joint making that a failure
certainty.
Then the cooling system--- Can they not read your book? The monstrosity
of monumental proportions they came up with was either another failure
of “Solidworks” as suddenly the radiators did not fit. All the
solutions to this “experiment” are carefully catalogued in your book. I
also note they were very tired having had to weld the full engine mount
in one day! I must assume that to not do so will allow the unwelded
section to Grow overnight and bugger the lot??
I must have missed a lot here somehow
Paul this really makes humorous reading, which is actually sad noting
that your information and advice they had actually researched. Judging
on the end result Paul you must be a professor 5 times over, for as I
said it is all in your book, while this mob failed spectacularly.

Thanks Neil. Interesting take. Some times it is hard to convince some
one that has a
different educational back ground. I am still working on my
communication skills
such as they are. I look upon it as my failure to communicate :-)
