Hi Paul, has anyone tried Marvel Mystery Oil as a fuel additive? I
have a friend that swears by MMO for every problem including worn
rings, blocked injectors, rheumatism, migraine headaches and
impotence.

I hate to tell you this Dave because you are one of the few people
that remember it but Marvel Mystery Oil is snake oil pure and simple
:-)

It came out worst in the 500 F half hour bake test.

Well OK,
I guess it is still OK for migraines and erectile dysfunction at low
temperatures and it smells nice!

The reason we tested it in the first place was because Tracy Crook was
advocating it for the rotary.

Granted the assessment of Marvel Mystery Oil was for high heat lubricity and stability but the stuff shines very remarkably as a fuel additive in  my experience. With less than 1oz per 5 gallons it has turned 4 of my motorcycles that are strong runners into 800 lb. Honda wheel standers. The stuff has it's niche. Serious rubber snakes on the road.
