The engine is lost in the cowl :-)

I think I'll put a huge muffler in there :-)

I have some more ideas on the cooling baffles. Do away with at least
one :-)

That looks great  with all that room.  I think it would be ideal for
fitting to my Barber Snark  although I would only need about 105 HP as
that would easily allow me to exceed VNE of 140Kn. You mention making
the body out of block of steel but what grade of steel would be best and
what would you estimate machining cost at? If more that one off to be
done would it not be best to rough cast the shape and then finish of
with the NC machine centre allowing some flats for the heat sinks. If
the price to build is low enough you would be able to compete in the
drone market as well as small aircraft. If enough rotary enthusiasts go
together they could form a viable engine company.

You don't have to open the throttle all the way.

Here that cooling idea I had. Works well for the top heat exchanger.

I think a high quality cast iron would be good. Cast close to size, to minimize machining (cost), than hard chrome and grind. CNC machines needed
for both process, someone has to reverse engineer the rotor housing, and produce the G-code. Paul has put a lot of energy and time into the cooling
systems on the engine, and if the TTC engine says anything, he has solved the overheating issues plaguing the rotary engine for aircraft.

There are programs that take the output from Rhino and generate the G-code for
the NC machine.
