Check this over carefully before you spend money on iron castings.
You will need a 13B or RX8 rotor housing to check the trochoid
dimensions.

Also check with the iron foundry to see if it fits their needs.

This is just an NC program for the casting pattern.
It can be made out of wood or high density foam.

If it works you will not have to pay a pattern maker.

I added some meat for side by side spark plugs.

JP002007205325A-mazda > patent, filed in 2007, unfortunately in japanese
only.
Mazda has changed the shape of the inner surface to correct the deformation
in the high pressure zone + hot lobe. Target is a better alignment / put up
of the seals to the sliding surface. I think, it's scaled in micrometers or
millimeters. Figures are over scaled  for better illustration ...

Thanks Frank. Those drawings are shocking when you first see them and then
realize they are greatly exaggerated. The all steel housing due the lower thermal expansion
rates will have less of that distortion.
