I redesigned the Ford based PSRU and got the weight down
'to less than 30 pounds. The original Ross was 35 pounds
and Tracy's was about 45 pounds. I am going to start
machining on the parts in the next few days.
It is the same length as Tracy's so it is interchangeable.
About 11 inches. It could be about 4 inches shorter for
the air cooled one rotor. That would save a couple of pounds.
No conventional prop flange is used. It is designed for the
WarpDrive/Sensinech ground adjustable pitch prop blades. More or less a
defacto standard now in the US and in Oz. It is a 3 blade version.
I'll test it on the RV4.
