Hi!: I'd say Methanol is practical just for model engines, this product is extremely toxic, it can leave people blind, or kill, and is absorbed through the skin, and through the lungs, if you're in an ambient with high Methanol content in the air, a good to know tip is that after ingesting Methanol, a first antidote is Ethanol, e.g. beer, wine, spirits, as Ethanol deviates the metabolism from producing less of the toxic byproduct of Methanol.
