To Frank: thanks for your interest. No I haven't tested yet the Kawasaki
plug hole change, meaning none of the engines in which I had the change
implemented has started, but I requested this change be implemented  in
a Mazda 13B, a Sachs KC-27, a Sachs KM-48, a Sachs KM-914, and one OMC
45 HP, just it have not started to turn yet, as installation in a car is
pending.

It could be remarked, however, that from the K Yamamoto book, 1981
edition, charts of pressure differences from advanced chamber to the one
behind, the pressures in the plug hole region are almost identical in
both chambers, a SAE paper, 921444 by Marcos Langeani, of Chile, is
about a RCE with high pressure recirculation of burned gases, towards
the chamber behind.

So, I expect no losses from leaks, if I ever succeed in having the
engines running, besides this, I have no means to measure output of
engine, just the basic emissions parameters with the help of the type of
probe that repair shops put in the exhaust tubes of cars.

have a good year 2017, + Salut

In the photo, the Rotor apex will travel from right to left, from the metal color area where the channel was carved, towards the black painted one, it's the opposite sense as in the pressure chart, the tail in the plug hole points to the trailing side from the leading side. Sorry again. Thanks,

The title of Marcos Langeani SAE paper 92144 is: 'High pressure recirculation of unburned gases', sorry.

In the photo of the KC-27 housing with the Kawasaki style plug hole change, the hole tail points from leading side towards trailing side, it's a single plug engine, I guess the trailing plug hole shouldn't be changed in the two plugged engines, as this zone actually has a lot of pressure difference from chamber in burning-expansion to chamber in intake-compression, this may be the reason why the trailing plug hole is made so small.

In the way the photo was taken, the Rotor turning direction could be misunderstood as opposite, the plug hole is in the upper part of housing, not in the bottom as the image may suggest, hope this clarifies it all.

I doubt the plug hole shape  will do any good. It does not address the main problem.
