This would be perfect for a couple rotaries, with turbos it'd be
insane!

Not sleek & sexy, but very utilitarian, very effective as designed.

Not sexy? Are you kidding me? It's gorgeous! Haha. I've been
eyeballing the evangel for a couple years now dreaming of a rotary
conversion. I love them boxy birds.

Check out, in detail, the high wing they(Angel aircraft) made too.
And the twin pusher...  :-)

    Kimmi,

I think the Evangel is sexy too, I just know its not for everyone...its my understanding that the hi-wing, tricycle version was the prototype, not familiar with the pusher version..(bet they abandoned that idea due to debris being kicked up into propellers) I've also had dreams of a scaled down Antonov An-2... maybe only 4 seats... powered by a turbo'd rotary, of course! http://www.seqair.com/Other/UnFalco/UnFalco.html <http://www.seqair.com/Other/UnFalco/UnFalco.html>

The long nose turbo-prop converted is An-3, a few were converted to WIG (wing in ground effect for ekranoplane project) and that twin tail oddity.. such an awesomely versatile aircraft, just needs a better engine! ;-)

Nice, Dan! I love the AN-2 design. It's pure utility and ingenuity.. if someone were to scale it down and add a turbo'd rotary you'd get a great STOL/cruiser with an outrageously epic useful load.

Yeah the twin pusher from Angel didn't last too long if I recall what I've read correctly but it was a really neat looking design (even by the majority's standards lol)!! And you are correct about the high wing prototype.

I want a 6 seat Wittman Tailwind with easily removable seats to accommodate cargo.. with a turbo rotary.. go fast carry weight and climb like crazy. Flying the Cessna 206 gave me ideas. Haha!
