Hello Paul,

here is some "stuff" related to another way of "compounding" - perhaps
better (?) than dealing with the high rpm of turbo chargers ...

US8689764 > a patent by P+W, showing the influence of the arrangement of the
channels between working unit + expander

US8662052 > patent by David Garside with an expander with a 2 lobe rotor.
Calculations shall show a gain of ~ +20% in power + ~ 20% less fuel
consumption ...

Other patents of interest by Pratt + Whitney may be Wo2010047960 +
US20140020381 ...

I've added some screenshots from Freedom Motors / Moller, too. Ok, it's
advertising - but nevertheless nice to read ... ;-)

freedom_1 > comparison of VW + Rotapower: size, weight ...

freedom_2 > comparison of engine efficiency (2005 ?)

freedom_3 > comparison of engine types I.

freedom_4 > generators: size, weight ...

freedom_5 > comparison of engine types II.

freedom_6 > balance of friction (Mazda vs Moller)

The patent US4067300 by Toyota shows the potential of your idea with air
only in the T section ("flab of air"). Please, have a look at figure 4.
Unfortunately w/o exact values, but the trend is clear, even without
pressurized air ...

Let's remember the "space changes" during the power stroke ...
 > T section is getting smaller + smaller > the S/V ratio is getting worse +
worse. No good conditions for combustion, no matter what you're trying to
"direct" - for example - with an ignition device ...
 > the L section is "growing" + the S/V ratio will be improved with each
single degree ...

Please, view the screenshot "T_quenching.jpg" > only the light area in the
chamber is "burned gas" ...

"combustion.jpg" is another screenshot related to the "Trailing section
challenge" ... I think, burning of fuel, you've paid for, after ~ 90 degrees
will not add any power ... (?)

A combination of the "air injection" + a compound system would be very
interesting - but perhaps not cheap enough ...

At last a tip for Jose with the F+S carburetor problem: the friends of the
Hercules W 2000 are still active - see www.hercules-wankel-ig.de/. English
should be no problem to them (ig > InteressenGemeinschaft > ~ community of
interest) ...

With kindest regards

Franky / Frank Herfert

Moller is too much of a scam artist. Year after year he never produces anything that works.

I like the Garside patent.
