It was scheduled for today Tuesday 4th of April at noon. Did
anybody reading this attend?
If so how was it. How many people attended.
Paul Lamar
Only 4 there, I was one. More of a round table discussion.
Marc Wiese
Yes. That is a problem and has been for the last few years.
I think it has to do mostly with the economy. People don't have
the money to spend on building an airplane.
Hard to justify traveling all the way across the country to give
a forum when only 4 people show up. Perhaps Aubrey will
have more on Saturday.
Paul Lamar
Paul, I arrived at Linder at noon and could not find building 8 so i
missed it.
Was looking forward to it, did see the Lamar instruments booth though
later in the day
No Lamar Instruments booth. There is a Lamar Electronics or Lamar
electric something
from Colorado.
Paul Lamar
What time is Saturdays forum and can we get directions to find it ?
I can drive over Saturday if I lknow where it takes place.
Thanks for all you do to educate us
William D. Pauley, II
It is in the school house
Saturday 12:00 room 8
Paul Lamar
To the left of the ticket booth, as you enter the grounds, note the
Piedmont 727. The nose of that plane is pointing at the school house.
Big three story building. Room 8 is on third floor to your left as you
exit the crippled elevator.
If you go North or a bit to your right passing under the tail of the 272
crossing Doolittle road (east/west) and follow Tom Mack road, the engine
tent is the last tent on your left before the tree line.
The school building is not shown on any maps in the free info guide.
