It does up to a point. A round hole will give you 90% and it is far far
lower cost and easier.

BTW one of the basic rules in business is one must differentiate ones product
from the competition even if it does not work. Nobody is going to bother
to do a scientific comparison. This applies to electric water pumps as well :-)
