Paul, I am going to use constant speed with reversing props (ground and
water maneuvering). MT makes them but expensive and I need 2. I may have
to make them myself. the pics shown of the electric unit looks nice. I
would love to have all info and dwgs that you offered.

Sounds good, has anyone done or thinking about doing one with a constant
speed hub. With a turbo rotary, I think a constant speed will benefit
everywhere if your planing on using the plane at high altitudes and want
max performance in climb, altitude, and cruise, which I am.
Thanks, Jacob Sturges
Yes in fact we designed and built one. Here are some pictures.
I did the initial design and others helped out. That was back in
the days we had a viable economy. If you are still interested
I have dwgs and other details.
The fact of the matter the power to weight ratio of a rotary powered
airplane is such
that a lower pitch is not really needed. Set the pitch for optimum
cruise and
let it go with that. Take off and climb are still amazing.
I would consider it for over all aircraft performance competition however.

It is not as easy as it looks. The blades are hand made. One might be able
to adapt Sensenich ground adjustable blades. The rest of it requires skilled
tig welders and machinist.
Here are some more pictures.

Paul,
Are these people who have this prop marketing it, or
has it been shelved? If you have any contact information
for them I would like to have it. Thanks.
Frank Clementi
Unfortunately the principle died.
