I've found some little pictures of a brochure by General Electrics.
Unfortunately there are no more informations at the "Web" ...

I think, it's a prototype of 199x, called PowerCore 1500, with 175 PS/8000.

The rotor is very thin - and should be very light ... ;-)

Perhaps we have someone with "connections" at General Electrics - would be
very, very nice to see + read a bit more about this RE ... :-)

GE have had released a 6 page description - but no production targets ?
Makes me wonder ...
