Hi! I found this on eBay and thought you might like it! Check it out
now! Turbo Compound Mazda 3 rotor gasoline engine with turbine and
turbine gear box. http://r.ebay.com/HLVEas Thanks, regards, Salut +

Its mine :-) I am selling it. Do you want to buy it?

That is a real piece of art, Paul!

How much power did you get with the turbo compound?

Jacobo GuimerĂ¡ns

The basic street 3 rotor sequential turbo charged is 350 HP.

I never ran it because I did not have the $650 a day for an engine dyno.
If the people running DARPA had any brains they would snap it up.

If Mazda had any brains they would be working on a turbo compound rotary. 20 to 30 percent less fuel burn.

The big problem with the Curtiss Wright turbo compound R3350 was exhaust valve failure. Guess what! the rotary has not exhaust valves.

Absolutely stunning piece of engineering.
No doubt in time to come people will look back on past designs and ask why the hell didn't these designs become adopted way sooner, and whatever possessed them to go down that road.
It is not the engineers fault, political and other BS decides what will and will not be.

If you want an example of the latest fad in so called green energy production you only have to look at all the wind turbines popping up around the world.
The most expensive method of producing electricity we have ever come up with to date.

The Bets limit states that you can only harness 59% of the winds energy and given that turbines and blades are at best 80% efficient that leaves you with 47% overall.

Now factor in that the wind does not blow sufficiently all the time you have a very expensive and extremely ugly and possibly hazardous blot on the landscape.
Great engineering, not.
Andrew Campbell.

I agree with you totally. I just drove 2K miles across the US on Hwy 90  from Wisconsin to Seattle on the west
coast and all the wind turbine are a real blight on the beautiful country side. Most of them not
turning.

Democracy can suffer greatly from an education problem. The US population is sorely uneducated
when it comes to physics. Particularly when it comes to electronics. The wacko environmentalist are hung up on electrics.

Feel your smart phone when it is charging.

Notice the high heat?

That is inefficiency!
