Trying to wrap my head around machining a one rotor e-shaft. My question
is, how does the rotor receive oil for cooling?

The center of the e-shaft is pressurized so the oil squirter squirts cooling
oil into the center of the rotor. The same thing is done in aircraft piston
engines to cool the piston.

Like always, a quick response! I see the attached pictures, and understand now too leave the one "squirt oil cooler" in the e-shaft.
