Finally we bypassed the front salesmen of Sensenich and Alex got access to the engineers. For the ~250HP p-port, they are recommending their 2G0M8 C76PG-2. This is a 74" diameter 2 blade that mounts to the same flange as a 200 HP Lycoming O-360. Cost for that propeller is $3500.

The C76PG is not on the website yet as it is a new blade model. It incorporates a few more lessons learned and uses a newer generation of airfoil. It is available as a 76" propeller, but he believes 74" will give me better performance. It was designed for 200 HP aerobatic planes, but the larger diameter will be of big advantage with the increase from 200 to 250 HP.

He does note "Due to the uncertainty of the application, we would likely leave the blades undrilled to allow for unlimited adjust ability. The negative to this is that the prop would require pitching with a protractor." They can drill at the anticipated angle, but if the prediction misses by more than 1.5 degrees, then the blades would require being set with a protractor.

Sensenich  ground adjustable prop is by far  the best approach.
