The old Gill turned it over a dozen times before it lost ompf.
It had not run it in years so it did not start. If it had run recently
I am sure it would have started. At that point I hooked up
my 200 amp battery charger and the engine turned over
faster and started. Ran very smooth for an aircraft engine.
I let it warm up and then ran it up to 1800 RPM static test RPM.
Still wonderful. I then let it idle down to 500 RPM. Still smooth.
That is a great aircraft piston engine.

What a load off my mind as the C182 is for sale.
