Coupling design is now vulcanised rubber as the original cast silicone disintegrated
by 8 hours.
(As I recall it was cast urethane. P. Lamar)
(I can look it up :-))
The input design will take up to 300 HP I suspect. Note I said "suspect",
The ratio is the 3.17 :1 so what ever the ford G/box will take less 30% are my
calculations.

Looks like a input shaft with integral gear, although the pictures show 2 types,
the pinned type also.

Yes. IMHO These pictures are not necessarily the final design.
Some are quite old. The damper picture IMHO is at least 2 years old
and the green material was probably polyurethane. Hi temp Silicon rubber
is always red. Neal now says it was replaced by rubber. So far no pictures
of that.
IMHO he is using the Ford splined input shaft with a square female steel
mating block as the center part of the coupling. Very clever. Attaching this shaft
to the sun gear I suspect is done with set screws. It could also be done
with a bunch of short pins welded in. On the other hand it could be machined
one piece from steel stock. It has been a long development process with input
from others I suspect.
