   Hi Paul,
        Well I finally got my planet gear working, basically I had to make my own planet
   carrier. That guy that did the EDM sure caused me some grief. Here are some pics.

         I have a question, first all of all your planet looks nice and so does the gear carrier bolting to the bell housing. Nice work!  I dont know what kind of plane this is going into so I dont know the horsepower and abuse it's going to take but what I question is if a stock bell housing is strong enough to handle the G-load and the  gyroscopic force from the propeller and the psru and if so what are its limits. Since a bellhousing was never really designed to live in that type of an environment, I am interested to know how they hold up and what can it take.  Not trying to knock anyone or the design,  just trying to learn more and see what your thoughts are.

Bell housings get far more shock and loading in cars on rough roads.

They have been used before in aircraft. Did you read the web site?
