Does anybody have that Kitplanes article that talks about
the reasons for experimental aircraft accidents?
Last few months.
I lost my copy and I wanted to scan the article.
One of the facts is mechanical engine failure was responsible
of 31% of the accidents. Not loss of fuel or ignition. Just
mechanical failer of the engine.
That absolutely not be true if you had a rotary. The mechanical parts
are cannon proof.

Thought the graph may add something to the conversation. Was thinking that a
separate, non-filtered fuel line may be warranted. A line that could be switched ON
should an emergency situation arise...? Just a thought an nearly 30% of the failures
are due to blocked fuel source.
