My name is Erwin Nijs. I'm an elektro-mechanical engineer as proffesion and i'm currently enrolled in a masters course automotive engineering.

I'm an rotary aficionado as well, but more geared towards race cars. I own a Mazda RX8 and have helped build several race cars powered by rotary engines; among others a 450Hp 13B turbo and a 460 HP 20B peripheral port NA engine.  I'm currently working on an engine to be used as a range extender for a series hybrid race car that is currently being build to compete in the 24h of Lemans race in the category "garage 56".

I believe I also live very close to Paul Janssens, who is mentioned on your site.


I love your site, especially the advanced topic section and technical paper section and I'm currently going trough all of it, reading every paper.

I would love to subscribe to your newsletter if it still exists.


Also, I noticed greek text on one of the pictures.


Do you know who's engine or drawing this is or where I can find more information about it?

People need to start sending letters or email to aviation magazine editors
and ask them about the TTC. They are so stupid and uneducated they do not
recognize the advantages of a high power to weight ratio aircraft engine.
Not only does it affect the climb it also has a strong effect on the range.
