Hi Paul,

enclosed is a little paper about synthetic oil for the RX-8 by Amsoil. May
be of some interest.

BTW: have payed ~ 6,75 $/US gallon gasoline today. Frustrating :-(

I have been using synthetic 2 cycle oil in the 2004 RX8.
It does not register as hydro carbons in the California smog tests.

I have used Mobil 1 in all seven of my car rotaries with no problems.
Starting when it first came out years ago. We use Mobil 1 in the time
to climb aircraft. No problems.
