I was going through my old files and found
the KIM-1 source code to the Road & Track road test system.
Here are the first 10 pages of 50 pages total written in the
early 1970's.

This took me a year to write in Hexadecimal.
No assembler. This was a couple of years before the
Apple II. Here is a copy of that.

Somebody at Los Alamo Scientific Laboratory read this
R&T article and contacted me. Los Alamos invented the
atomic bomb.

They told me they had a Cray 1
10 million dollar computer with a 6502 cross assembler
on it. If I would let them read the source code they would
translate the code to assembly language. They sent a phd to live
at my house in Hermosa Beach for a couple of weeks to convert
the hex code to 6502 assembly language .

After this was done we coauthored a IEEE tech paper that turned
out to be the first documented device with a microcomputer.
