These are a real bargain as they use a 1.5 volt battery for about 500 hours.
I hate recharging anything every night.

Some  appearer to fail after several months and the volume control
needs to be a knob. A glance would tell you what the volume is set to.

The speaker could be smaller.
I cannot live with out them however.
