   A little off topic but I'm having trouble getting an answer to an electrical
   question
   I have and hope you or a member could help.
   I bought a surface grinder that runs 480v 3 phase. I have 220v 3 phase from an
   inverter. I have a  lead on a 480v 3 phase to 208v Y 3 phase step down transformer.
   My question is can I run this transformer backwards and is the 208 Y close enough to
   the 220v I have  ?

Now that surprises me, you have never ceased to amaze me with the number subjects that you can address with authority. Computers, engineering, cad/cam, aerodynamics, sailing, flying and of course the rotary.
The same can be said of many of the individuals on the newsletter and the group as a whole so perhaps one of them would be able to confirm I can.
