Dan and some of the observers noticed smoke coming from
the engine near 10,000 feet.
That is usually caused by a failed o-ring inside the oil scrappers rings
on the side of the rotor.

Racing Beat used stock neoprene o-rings in this location
and they are not adequate for a high power engines.

It had zero effect on the HP.
However to replace them the engine must be disassembled.
